This is a stunning silk damask from Scalamandre entitled "Love Bird".  Scalamandre design number 1098MM Color #006 Gold.  This is a current pattern and colorway.  The "Love Bird" design has been a signature silk of Scalamandre since the 1930's and still is in the current line today.  The fabric is 53" wide and is made from 100% silk.  The vertical repeat is 17 1/4" and 13 1/4".  This pattern is a Reproduction Circa Late 16th Century Renaissance Revival.  This silk would be magnificent for drapes, bedding, pillows, throws and could be used for light upholstery.  The retail on this magnificent fabric is $178.00 a yard through conventional channels.  Our buy it now is below retail as well as below wholesale.  We do own a professional workroom.  If you would like this yardage made into something spectacular, feel free to contact us for a quote.  We do have the "Love Bird" in more colorways, available in our other listings.  Happy Decorating!!
